Cigar Intel

The Plasencia Alma Fuerte line represents some of the finest tobacco in the Plasencia family’s extensive Nicaraguan reserves. Produced at the Plasencia factory in Nicaragua, this blend uses a carefully aged selection of Nicaraguan wrapper, binder, and filler tobaccos, creating a true puro built for flavor and structure.

The Robusto vitola features the brand’s signature box-pressed shape, which helps concentrate the smoke and gives the blend a slow, even burn. This format allows the cigar’s natural sweetness, spice, and earth to develop gradually throughout the session.

Alma Fuerte translates to “strong soul,” and the name fits. While the cigar carries full flavor and body, the balance and construction keep it smooth and controlled rather than overpowering.

Tasting Notes

The Alma Fuerte Robusto opens with rich dark chocolate and roasted coffee layered over a core of cedar and earth. As the cigar settles in, black pepper and baking spice begin to build, balanced by a subtle natural sweetness from the aged Nicaraguan tobaccos. The smoke becomes thicker and creamier through the second half, bringing notes of toasted nuts, cocoa, and charred oak before finishing long, smooth, and full-flavored.
