The Black Label Trading Co., Bishop's Blend 2026 Robusto is a 5 x 48 handcrafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua. For this anniversary release, James Brown combined an Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper with Connecticut Broadleaf in a barber pole presentation over an Ecuadorian Habano binder and a filler blend of Nicaraguan, Connecticut Broadleaf, and Pennsylvania Broadleaf tobaccos.

Compared to other Black Label releases, Bishop's Blend sits toward the fuller end of the lineup. It delivers plenty of pepper and earth, but there's also a natural sweetness throughout the smoke that keeps everything balanced. The Robusto size concentrates those flavors into about an hour of smoking, making it an excellent choice when you want the full Bishop's Blend experience without committing to one of the larger vitolas.

Tasting Notes

Expect black pepper, dark earth, cocoa, baking spice, raisin sweetness, and rich tobacco throughout the smoke. The barber pole wrapper adds a little extra depth, while the finish remains smooth with lingering earth, spice, and just enough sweetness to have you reaching for another.
