The Alec Bradley Gatekeeper Robusto has an interesting story behind it. Originally developed by brothers Alec and Bradley Rubin in collaboration with legendary cigar maker Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, the man behind E.P. Carrillo Cigars, Gatekeeper brought together their ideas and experience into one blend.

The cigar features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a combination of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers. Originally produced in the Dominican Republic, production later moved to Honduras while keeping the original blend intact.

The 5 x 50 Robusto offers a nice balance between smoking time and flavor, making it a good choice when you want something substantial without reaching for a larger cigar.

Gatekeeper also earned some serious recognition, landing at No. 7 on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 Cigars of 2020 list with an impressive 95-point rating.
