Maduro Cigars

The result of extra fermentation and aging, Maduro wrappers take on a dark, often oily appearance and bring out bold notes of cocoa, espresso, spice, and natural sweetness. These wrappers can be crafted from a variety of seed types and grown in places like Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico, and beyond, giving manufacturers room to create some truly standout blends.

What started a few decades ago as a response to growing demand for richer flavor has now become a category all its own. And for good reason, Maduro cigars offer a slow, layered smoke that appeals to seasoned veterans and curious newcomers alike. Our selection brings together the best of the bold, from smooth and sweet to deep and daring. If you want a cigar with some gravity behind it, the Maduro won't disappoint.

Maduro is a wrapper, not a strength. Our cigar wrapper guide explains what the dark leaf does to flavor and which blends earn their reputation.
