The Plasencia Alma del Fuego line was created to highlight tobacco grown on the volcanic island of Ometepe, one of the most unique growing regions in Nicaragua. The mineral-rich volcanic soil gives the tobacco a deeper character with bold earthiness, natural sweetness, and a rich spice that stands out from more traditional Nicaraguan blends.

The Candente is a soft box-pressed 5 x 50 Robusto made entirely with Nicaraguan tobaccos and produced at the Plasencia factory in Nicaragua. While this cigar leans fuller in flavor, it keeps the profile balanced and refined with the clean construction, smooth draw, and even burn Plasencia is known for.

Tasting Notes

Earth and black pepper lead the profile early, followed by espresso, dark chocolate, and toasted nuts. As the cigar develops, subtle sweetness and warm baking spice begin to build in the background. The finish stays rich and smooth with lingering spice and natural tobacco sweetness through the final third.
