Deadwood Tobacco Co. goes Dominican. That’s the quick story here, but the blend speaks for itself. The Dominicans Toro was developed at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate with an emphasis on balance and nuance. Unlike its bolder Deadwood siblings, this one delivers a creamy, mellow profile wrapped in a golden Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade leaf and finished with a subtle, sweetened cap.

The Dominican fillers give this cigar a unique core: floral, nutty, and smooth. Add in a Mexican San Andrés binder and you get a nice base of earth and cocoa to keep things grounded. The construction is clean, the burn is even, and the draw is effortless.

Tasting Notes

From the first draw, you’ll notice sweet cream and vanilla up front, backed by soft cedar and toasted almond. There’s a honey-like sweetness that lingers through the middle, followed by a touch of white pepper and graham cracker on the finish. Mild in strength, but not in personality, this is a cigar you can really unwind with.
