Cigar Intel

The Porcelain Corona Gorda is handcrafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Nicaragua, the boutique factory responsible for many of the small-batch blends produced by Black Label Trading Company. The cigar uses a silky Connecticut wrapper paired with a Nicaraguan binder and a carefully selected filler blend that brings structure and complexity to the profile.

While Connecticut wrappers are often associated with lighter, milder cigars, this blend leans slightly richer than expected. The tobaccos underneath the wrapper introduce a bit more body and spice, helping the cigar maintain balance without losing the smooth character that Connecticut lovers appreciate.

The Corona Gorda format (5½ x 48) keeps the smoke focused and flavorful while allowing the blend to evolve gradually throughout the session. The result is a cigar that stays smooth but never flat, offering enough nuance to keep experienced smokers engaged.

Tasting Notes

The Porcelain Corona Gorda opens with smooth cream and cedar, followed by soft earth and toasted bread notes. As the cigar develops, light white pepper and gentle baking spice begin to appear, balanced by a subtle natural sweetness. The smoke stays silky and refined throughout, finishing clean with lingering cream, cedar, and a touch of spice.
